It is our goal to be constantly learning, continually educating, and perpetually striving to better our community.


  • Supplies researchers with valuable resources to tackle clinical inquiries and effectively share their discoveries through peer-reviewed publications and presentations.
  • Works in partnership with clinicians at TSAOG Orthopaedics & Spine to utilize clinical data in order to reduce invasive interventions, and enhancing patient well-being.
  • Facilitates formal student research training programs and secures grants to disseminate outcomes, contributing to the progress of Orthopaedics.


  • Annually offers mentorship to over 400 students from diverse backgrounds, including local schools, colleges, universities, SAMC, and private physician practices worldwide.
  • BRIO's fundamental objective revolves around providing scholarships and diverse forms of assistance to individuals with aspirations to pursue careers in the field of orthopaedics.
  • Our educational offerings encompass CME-accredited courses and bioskills lab sessions, fostering a conducive environment for orthopaedic learning.


  • Partners with community health organizations and charitable foundations to host community health and wellness events.
  • Engages in community education and advocacy to raise awareness about essential topics, including but not limited to osteoporosis, bone health, injury prevention, rehabilitation, chronic pain management, and orthopaedic foot care.
  • BRIO aims to create a philanthropic initiative, offering complimentary Orthopaedic services to individuals in need within our community.
